Our team is close knit, dedicated, and conscientious. We are a very family-oriented company and dedicated to results for our customers and carriers.

Mandy Barton – President
After beginning a career in Third Party Logistics, Mandy grew frustrated with the service she was receiving from brokers. In 1997, Mandy started Barton Logistics in her parent’s dining room with not much more then her own determination and a broker’s bond, which she purchased with 4-H money saved from raising stock show animals as a kid. Passionate about quality service, Mandy is grateful for the close relationships and successful business that has been the result. Mandy lives on a ranch near Medina, TX, and spends her non-working hours raising African hoofstock (Gemsbok, Wildebeest, etc.) and chasing after her 3-year old daughter, Claire.

Vic Nance – Business Development
After completing 25 years with a Midwest based truckload carrier, Vic joined Barton Logistics in May 2007. Vic’s job description includes new account development, current business maintenance, and collaboration with staff managers for business growth. Other duties are telling funny stories to the Research and Development department (day care toddlers). Vic resides with his wife and high-school sweetheart of 40+ years, Penny, in rural Medina, in the cup of a canyon with a crystal clear creek running at the base. His wife has a full time job feeding the birds and deer-and caring for Vic. Vic and Penny have a daughter, a son, and 5 grandchildren. Pastimes include reading, travel and soaking up the Central Texas sunshine!
Criss Wilson– Vice President of Operations
With more than 25 years in the supply chain industry working for a fortune 500 manufacturer and a fortune 100 transportation integrator, Criss joined Barton in July of 2011. This is Criss’ second residency in the great state of Texas. In his spare time he enjoys Ohio High School Football, open wheel racing, white water rafting, mountain biking, and is a licensed pyrotechnician with 27 years experience and all of his God given fingers and toes.

Esper Causey – Accounting Manager
Esper began her career with Mandy and Barton Logistics briefly when the company started in 1997, returning full-time in 2002. Esper currently manages accounts payable and receivable, and has worn many hats throughout the years, starting as a dispatcher. “It has been a great honor to have watched this company grow from a start-up in Mandy’s parents dining room to a fully-staffed building-and still growing!” Esper has a 10-year old son, Brady, who is her life. She loves every minute of being a mom and spends most of her off time focused on his many activities. Her hobbies also include working in her yard, and anything outside in the fresh air.

Her duties include dispatching Spanish-speaking drivers, negotiating rates, and doing follow up on individual line hauls for Spanish speaking customers. Exceptionally methodic and detailed-minded, Cassie encourages organization in the office. She lives slightly up river and a little north of Vic along the banks of the Medina. As one of the so-called big city transplants for the past decade, she has enjoyed the solitude and quaint rural life away from the urban confusion and chaos. In her spare time Cassie enjoys water activities, rock climbing, shelling black-eyed peas, and stacking firewood.

Alicia Hinojosa – Operations Coordinator
Alicia joined Barton Logistics in May of 2011. She was born and raised in Medina, TX and is excited about the opportunity to return home and become part of the Barton team. She has a 3-year old son whom she is the most proud of and a husband of 5 years who is in the rodeo circuit, so you can find her at just about any rodeo. Her hobbies and interests include dancing, chasing her little boy, hunting, fishing, and she always finds something to paint or craft together.
